Founded by Andrew Turner over 15 years ago, Martlesham-based Turners Blinds & Shutters employs 6 staff and provides high-quality bespoke blinds, shutters, and awnings to homes and commercial properties across Suffolk and Essex, priding themselves on offering a friendly, professional service.
In 2014 Managing Director, Andrew Turner recognized the need to move away from a paper-based system, wanting a cloud-based mobile app solution to quote on-site at clients’ homes and premises.
After assessing alternative software, Andrew identified BlindMatrix as the best blinds solution and agreed to work alongside the BlindMatrix team on the development of a new mobile application.
The result is a full-function mobile app that covers everything from creating new appointments, tasks, quotes, and invoices onsite, taking payments, capturing signatures, accessing mobile CRM, and sending job updates back to the office, plus laser measuring and offering the ability to work offline.
“Our team makes full use of the mobile app, which is easy to use and enables us to manage new jobs, completed jobs, and those in between, all from a mobile device, with every job synchronized between mobiles and our back office. It has made life so much easier,” comments Andrew.
Using the app has enabled the company to increase its turnover by streamlining most of its administrative processes, giving it extra time and resources to increase sales and develop additional products.
